Principal's welcome
Welcome to St Anthony’s Catholic Primary Academy school website! We are very proud of our school and strive to be outstanding through our curriculum and wider opportunities. We also recognise our vocational duty to be concerned with the development of the whole person, in the image and likeness of Jesus Christ, and make every effort to forge a partnership with parents and the Parish. Our Catholic beliefs, values and principles underpin our school-promoting equality, tolerance and respect for the law so all can contribute to the common good. As Pope Francis said, ”What we are called to respect in each person is first of all his life, his physical integrity, his dignity and the rights deriving from that dignity, his reputation, his property, his ethnic and cultural identity, his ideas and his political choices.” St Anthony of Padua, our Patron Saint, said “Let your actions speak and your words teach.” We aim to model and teach his approach though all that we do as a school community. We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find the information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the school directly with any queries you may have. We also welcome your views via the Ofsted Parent View. Thank you for visiting.

#stantsclm: As we approach Pentecost Sunday, children will listen to the Pentecost story from The Acts of the Apostles and compare different artistic impressions. We will plan how we can be better people with the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Celiac Awareness Month, observed in May, aims to raise public understanding of coeliac disease, an autoimmune disorder triggered by gluten. It`s crucial because many people with coeliac disease remain undiagnosed, experiencing debilitating symptoms.
Our school community enjoyed supporting this by wearing orange as part of awareness raising. Thank you to Coeliac UK for providing information for our families.
If you are concerned about this for your child, visit your GP or discuss with our school nurse service: 01902441057
